Pre-sales Consultant required for EFT Switch and payments solutions

I am looking for a Pre-sales Consultant, reporting to Head of Pre-Sales Support to perform presales activities and provide Business Consultancy for EFT Switch and payments related technologies.

Position is based in Dubai, UAE and main tasks for the candidate are as follows:

·        Preparation and maintenance of the pre-sales materials (technical presentations, Virtual Machines, etc);

·        Interaction with potential customers: presentations, demonstrations of software products, technical discussions, requirements gathering & scoping studies;

·        Participation in marketing activities, such as conferences and exhibitions: interacting with potential customers, delivering speeches, articles and otherwise acting as subject matter experts for all PR related events;

·        Solution design for the customer needs and assistance to sales team in proposal creation;

·        Bid preparation and management for participation in the tenders;

·        Internal consultancy and training for sales & marketing divisions;

·        Analysis of the potential customer/market feedback and its translation into internal improvement suggestions for R&D;

·        Participation in the design and whenever necessary formalization of the business processes required by the pre-sales and consultancy practices within the company, as well as creation of the documentation templates and other organization tools would also be part of functions of the candidate.

·        Candidate should be prepared to travel a lot, as much as the business would require.

 Successful candidate would have following personal qualities:

·        Fluent written and spoken English;

·        Strong knowledge of EFT and retail banking industry, preferably through the vendor perspective, acquired by working at a similar company, preferably one of the global competitors, such as ACI, eFunds, TSYS, HPS, First Data, S1/Postilion, etc;

·        Experience in building and managing consultancy/pre-sales teams;

·        Degree in IT, computer science or engineering;

·        Excellent presentation and communications skills;

·        Good capability in self-learning;

·        Highly-motivated and capable of working in a geographically widespread team.

This includes the responsibilities of managing procedures related to the identification, prioritization and resolution of end users service desk requests, including the logging, monitoring, tracking, communicating and coordination of helpdesk functions.
• The SDA serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC problems. creates user accounts, assigns privileges and installs software. Responsible for the analysis, installation, maintenance and upgrade of computer software and hardware.
• Provide regular incident & Problem bulletins to IT support staff concerning open issues
• Co-ordinate and promote incident management activities across AZF IT and take responsibility for the effective functioning of the Incident Management processes across all support areas
• Provide advice to all support staff in the resolution of Incidents, including negotiation with customers and service teams in order to resolve issues which may delay resolution
• Actively coordinate the monitoring and resolution of stalled or breached incident/request with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line groups
• Ensure effective and rapid response to Major Incidents
• Ensure that any service breach is suitably recorded and described before it is closed
• Supervises the activities of Service Desk Analyst staffs
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with business users and address stakeholder expectations.

Pakistan Software Export Board in collaboration with National ICT R&D Fund has launched a new internship program titled "National ICT Internship program". Through this program, PSEB will deploy 800 graduates with 16 years academic degrees who aim to develop a career in the ICT industry. While including ICT graduates the program shall also accommodate not more than 25% of students from the non-ICT discipline.

Objectives:

The goals of the project are multiple. These include; Meet industry needs for fresh graduates with relevant and latest training in most demanded areas as determined by the industry. To give an opportunity to the graduates of the country and make them contributing members of the ICT industry & IT department of the public sector organizations. This will be accomplished through a 4 month internship at ICT companies & IT department of the public sector organizations.
