QA Engineer required

We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, and committed to deadlines QA Engineer with around one year of QA experience in a reputable organization.

Job Description

• S/He would work with our business analysts to ensure quality in our development documents
• S/he would be required to develop, publish and implement test plans for complex multi-tier, distributed, applications throughout the full life-cycle of software
• S/he would ensure that quality issues are appropriately identified, analyzed, documented, tracked and resolved
• S/he would work closely with development teams to drive, coordinate and perform all levels of testing, and ensuring quality outputs
• S/he would take an active role in ensuring that the software components meet the highest quality standards
• S/he would be expected to take initiatives to enhance quality in projects and in the organization

Skills Required

• Ability to design, develop and execute test plan and test cases for functional components and design specifications of applications
• Ability to identify test scenarios with respect to different testing types and to write and execute them
• Ability to perform regression, integration, performance, load, and automated testing - whichever applicable in whichever case
• Experience with Mantis preferred

The applicant must have at least a bachelors or masters degree in computer science with at least 2.8 GPA from a recognized institution of repute. Some professional training, certification or a proper degree in quality management area would be preferred in case of experienced applicants, and would be considered a must for fresh graduates with no professional experience.
