Opportunity Digi has an excellent opportunity for an experienced FAE located in Singapore. This newly created position will be accountable for assisting the sales team in closing new business opportunities for the embedded and embedded wireless product lines, Device Cloud services and large projects. This position is an integral part of the sales strategy, participating in the identification and qualification of new sales opportunities. This position reports to the Business Development Manager in Singapore. Responsibilities will include • Provide customer training programs, and multi-level technical sales presentations as needed for embedded and RF embedded products as well as device Cloud services. • Act as liaison between sales team and engineering, technical support, product marketing and product management. • Provide tradeshow support, including set up and tear down of booth/equipment. • Assist in driving revenue, as well as development of relationships with technical customer contacts within assigned region. • Work with appropriate local organizations to ensure certification of products. Position requirements • 5+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. At least 2 years experience working with embedded (ARM-based architecture, microcontrollers/processors) and wireless products (ZigBee, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc.) • Experience in technical hardware development and software coding and familiarity of supporting tools and methodologies is strongly preferred. • Knowledge of various networking (PAN/LAN/WAN) principles, topologies and protocols, is mandatory. • Good understanding of hardware and software integration of low level drivers, especially on ARM-based processors. • Proactive approach to learning new versions, products and modules • Heavy travel required • Must have exceptional presentation skills • Ability to effectively communicate with various technical and sales personnel at all levels of the organization • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field If the above opportunity is of interest to you, please send in your updated profile to asiajobs@digi.com with the following details: Current compensation: Expected compensation: Notice period/time required to join: Regards, HR Team www.digi.com
