Software Developer
Reporting to the CTO and CEO of a company, you are passionate about pursuing technological solutions for solving indigenous problems. This is an opportunity to be part of a founding team of a company. Asli Goli is a product authentication company that tackles the $400million counterfeit pharmaceutical products industry through a simple serialization solution. An m-health company, we collaborate with SMS marketing firms, tele-health companies and other cogs in the m-health eco-system to provide a holistic platform to end users of our products.
You are well versed in product development at start-ups, including rapid prototyping and iterative development. You are able to learn new things on the fly using online technical resources. Your ability to communicate well will see you in a client facing role, and learning about business development.
Previous experience working on SMS applications would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
1. Requirements gathering
2. Analysis of user requirements
3. Designing of algorithms, flow charts, ERD, GUIs and Reports

Position: Senior Technical Consultant
Location: Karachi, Pakistan.

Summary
The Senior Consultant role is a highly interactive, complex role where the consultant has a blend of strong analytical, communication, problem solving and business skills.
Primary Responsibilities
· Lead design and development components during the client project.
· Define implementation and integration alternatives as needed.
· Support batch execution.
· Facilitate the logging, reporting and resolution of application issues.
· Perform knowledge transfer to client personnel especially related to Oracle Retail and online resources applications and requirements.
· Participate in supporting production environment as necessary.
· Assist in handoff to support team upon successful project completion.
· Perform go-live assessments to determine readiness of the system as well as client and support teams.
· Provides leadership in the development plan, creation and execution.
· Assist with data conversion and integration testing
Qualifications
· 5 years’ experience with Oracle Retail RMS data model knowledge and one of the following batch/integration/RIB.
· PL/SQL, Pro*C, Unix Scripting and Oracle Forms Development
· Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers, including clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
· Existing consulting skills, as well as candidates who aspire to move in to a consulting capacity.
· Confident written and verbal English skills.
· A proactive nature and a high attention to detail.
· The ability to work as part of a team.
· A demonstrated ability to problem solve.
· Ability to travel 80%.
· A college degree.
Desirable
· Experience working for a Retailer or previous consulting experience.
