Skills required for this position

Introduction
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Coordinator in the Information Cost Control Services Department.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible to;
· Assist the manager of department in the divisional strategic and operational planning, qualitative and quantitative system and process improvement studies.
· Assist in deployment of Balance Scorecard for the development of divisional integrated strategy.
· Follow-up with engineering departments on the commissioning of capital equipment as planned.
· Assist in preparing feasibility plans for the various expansion or other projects, reports, identify gaps and improvise system to manage the rapid growth of facilities.
· He/she will also assist in strengthening the divisional computerized and manual systems by bridging the gaps and adopting best practices for proper and optimum utilization of existing resources.
· Formulate and implement the action plan for System and process improvement using formal methodologies e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean etc.
· Assist the Manager in divisional planning and coordination for the execution of annual capital and operational plans.
Requirements
• MBA / Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in industry with 2 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Experience of Strategy deployment with model driven management systems preferably through Balance Scorecard.
• Preferably experience of software system deployment in operational capacity
• Sound knowledge of systems, improvement cycle and cross functional teams.
• Business process reengineering and process improvement (e.g. Six Sigma).
• Working experience of quality system, process improvement and business reporting.
• Experience of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) will be given preference.
• Extensive analytical and decision making skills.
