i2c Pakistan Requires Senior SCM Engineer/SCM Engineer - Lahore based only

Following positions is open at priority:

Position Title: Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer/SCM Engineer - (2 positions each)
Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities:

Develops or facilitates in developing software configuration management plan(s) and ensures effective implementation
Prepares configuration management status reports for relevant stakeholders
Actively works to ensure smooth and timely software build, release management and software deployments
Facilitates in establishing and implementing configuration management processes and SCM best practices
Facilitates in exploration and induction of tools and technologies related to SCM and release management aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the function

Required Competencies:

A degree in computer sciences or equivalent
1 to 3 years experience in SCM with proven competencies in software configuration management, preferably in a lead role
Fresh graduates may also apply
Excellent team and interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of SCM processes and methodologies
Hands on experience of contemporary SCM tools including version control, build and release management, automation etc.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Web application deployment (J2EE based) and configuration experience is desired
Experience on Linux and/or Sun-Solaris platform would be a big plus
Drive for accomplishment in a challenging work context
