For the Electrical Hardware Team within the Electrical System and
Software department we are looking for an experienced Team Leader to
manage and coach a cross-functional team of highly competent
engineers. The team is responsible for the electrical systems of the
wind turbines, including control systems, medium voltage equipment and
lightning protection.
Work Assignments
As a Team Leader you will be working together with internal and
external stakeholders, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day
management of the team as well as for the planning and optimal use of
the team resources.
More specifically, your and your team's responsibilities will cover:
Ensuring the development, test and validation of electrical
hardware solutions
Verifying electrical hardware solutions in cooperation with our
suppliers
Validating electrical hardware solutions on-site
Setting targets for team members, reporting and following up on
team KPIs
Ensuring the required resources and competences are in the team.
Being part of the management team and thus participating in the
continuous development of the hardware team
Your Profile
You have a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering combined with a
broad knowledge of electrical hardware. Besides, you have 3+ years of
experience in leading cross-functional teams, and it would be an
advantage if you have experience from the wind energy sector.
As a person you are proactive and self-determined, and you take
ownership of your assignments. You have the drive to continuously
create results and motivate your team to perform successfully, and you
possess strong interpersonal and decision-making skills. In addition,
you like to take part in technical discussions, and you are change-
oriented and strive to optimize methods, tools and processes. You
thrive in a multicultural environment and possess excellent
communication and English skills both orally and in writing.
