The Software Development Team Lead will be part of an software development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack. The Software Development Team Lead will provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentor-ship.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
§ The successful candidate will have at least four years of SQL experience, using MSSMS / Enterprise Manager / Query Analyzer to write complex but structured stored procedures and transactions.
§ Proven .NET Developer experience using C#, VB.net / Visual Studio with a good understanding of how controls and features affect performance.
§ Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.
§ Experience with automated testing, multi-threading , concurrency, debugging, performance profiling and optimization.
§ As well as being able to take a high-level specification and create an acceptable technical specification, the candidate will perform the necessary work to the appropriate standards, both accurately and quickly and using their own initiative.
§ They will be committed to code and performance testing and possess a good understanding of the application of technical skills in a commercial business-processing context and the changing demands that can result.
§ Must have excellent communication (including good written and verbal English) and team working skills and be able to work in a fast and demanding knowledge-sharing environment with some user interaction.
§ Experience configuring and developing customizations for Microsoft SharePoint is highly desirable.
