| Dear Noman, Our client, a leading bank in the UAE is currenlty looking for a Senior Software Engineer having in depth knowledge of all applications under development with the domain, as well as all latest software development technologies and methodologies - Role: Senior Software Engineer - Location: UAE - Experience: 5 + years of experience ( 5 years IT & 3 years banking ) Responsibilities - Plan and Deliver the IT Software programs according to business requirements. ·Build future-proof reusable core code libraries, which can be shared to drive further efficiency. To deliver code which is well tested and consistently error free. ·To design and build database schemas with integrity and scalability with data access layers that are optimized for performance and security. - Provide BAU environment for applications within Domain according to development & testing requirements ·Facilitate technology and methodology implementation throughout team, including standardization of system architecture, reusable code base development, versions of software tools, best practice, source control and deployment processes. ·To instigate cross team ideas and initiatives. ·Ensure execution of the technical strategy and implementation of the domain development stream activities - Service Level Management · Identify continuous improvement opportunities within Software Engineering COE Experience Required -Strong understanding of Software Engineering (development & testing) Strong understanding of the high level technical application architecture and design. -Strong understanding to the technical application risks, security, compliance and Audit requirements. -Have thorough experience in implementing full life cycle of a project. -Knowledge and understanding of software engineering lifecycles -Must have in depth knowledge of all applications under development with the domain, as well as all latest software development technologies and methodologies.
