Requirements

A thorough knowledge of English, journalism or communications as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in English, journalism or related field.
Proven experience performing editing and desktop publishing activities in an education and/or business environment.
Must possess excellent spelling and grammatical skills to administer the editorial production of curriculum and promotional materials, as described above.

The Web Content Writer will be well-versed in various Web-writing styles and will be responsible for developing concepts, writing marketing copy drafts, and editing and reviewing marketing content for Web communications. Additional tasks will focus on crafting informative articles, SEO content and informational Web copy. Related work experience in writing copy for corporate marketing and/or advertising is a plus. Create marketing copy themes and concepts that assist in the overall branding of our web properties.
Write persuasive, natural SEO content.
Work closely with the Web Development, Graphic Design and Creative Services Content Teams to produce effective Web copy, as well as regularly update and edit existing content.


Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or related field is preferred.
Experience in writing Search Engine Optimized (SEO) copy highly desired.
At least 2 years of Web writing / editorial experience focused on Web marketing.
Strong knowledge of the Web environment and solid knowledge of best practices in communicating online via the internet
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
