Jinny Software wishes to hire a Mobile Advertising Sales Manager. This position reports to the Head of Mobile Advertising and is based out of our office in Dubai, UAE.
Jinny has been selling software and services to worldwide mobile operators for 10 years. We have expanded our market offering to give mobile operators, media agencies, and advertising agencies access to mobile advertising on mobile operator networks.
The Jinny Advertising Service is designed to allow advertisers and agencies to build and design mobile advertising and marketing campaigns on mobile operator networks which target consumer segments using detailed profile data and easy-to-use tools.
We are now looking to hire a person to sell advertising through relationships with media and advertising agencies in the Middle East. Our ten year history with regional mobile operators provides us with a platform to leverage these relationships and develop the market for mobile advertising and marketing in the region.
Your responsibilities
- Work with media agencies and advertising agencies to build mobile marketing campaigns that allow these agencies to run targeted, relevant campaigns on mobile operator networks and to generate new revenue streams for the mobile operators;
- Build strong sales relationships directly with advertisers and ad agencies;
- Build a long-term channel strategy and pricing for the region;
- Devise new and continuous revenue streams;
- Sell advertising on all forms of mobile media in operator networks e.g. text and multi-media message advertising, banner advertisements, pre-roll multi-media advertising;
- Work with media and advertising agencies to understand how their current and future needs will be served;
- Support the building of operator sales through demonstration of the revenue opportunities in running mobile advertising and marketing campaigns on their networks;
- Make it easy for agencies to use our service and drive mutual revenue.
You will be/have:
- Sales focused;
- An experienced senior, self-motivated, successful digital marketing manager (or similar) experienced in building and running advertising and marketing campaigns;
- At least 3+ years of digital marketing and advertising experience, with strong agency contacts in the region;
- Experienced in business development, including partnership marketing and client relationship management;
- The ability to work closely with internal departments as well as external clients simultaneously to maximise revenues;
- Past experience working with online marketing, advertising affiliate programs and web/mobile traffic analytical tools;
- A proven ability to generate revenue through selling of advertising;
- The ability to create opportunities to gain significant advertising revenue through sales, sponsorships, and business partnerships;
- A person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- You will be fluent in the English language, the ability to speak Arabic will be a plus.
