Computer Operator Required

There is an opening in MIS operations section of a non-profit organization. Following are the details;

 

SUMMARY

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Also maintain maintenance log files for Audit perspective.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Must be capable to assemble the computer and troubleshoot hardware and software

·         Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware

·         Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems

·         Must have knowledge of Windows Operating system i.e. Windows 98/2000/XP

·         Must install troubleshoot the operating system and other software i.e. Antivirus, MS office, Outlook Express, etc.

·         Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Working Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, ISA server , network topologies , network security etc. is an added advantage

·         Write training manuals and train computer users.

·         Maintain daily log reports like Repair and Maintenance Logs, Asset Maintenance Logs and Gate Pass Log, Downtime Logs etc

·         Should have good communication skills (verbal / written)

 

Job Type: Permanent
Location: Karachi (Korangi Industrial Area)
Office Timings: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Salary:  13,000 – 15,000 per Month
