Embedded Developer (VxWorks, Device Driver)

About Job: Leading designer and developer of innovative software, hardware, and systems
for real time embedded solutions has an immediate opening for a creative,
motivated, and accomplished software engineer to be a part of a team
developing solutions for complex embedded systems.
Responsibility: The Software Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing,
troubleshooting, debugging and modification of real-time embedded software
for applications, lab test software, manufacturing support software and
calibration lab support software programs in an individual contributor role.
Work involves analog and digital hardware and real-time software operating
systems.
Must Have: ⇒ Sound experience with programming hard-real-time routines that interface
with hardware
⇒ Experience with VxWorks and driver development. Will consider
experience with similar RTOS
⇒ Some commercial experience with C, C++, and ASM
⇒ Must have a mastery of the embedded systems and OS architecture to
implement robust, real-time, and high-availability software
⇒ Programming experience with Windows and Visual Studio, Eclipse
⇒ Must be able to work independently as well be a strong team player
⇒ Experience with LabView, oscilloscope, or logic analyzer is a strong plus
⇒ Must have BS degree in CS, EE, or related field
Location: Primarily Islamabad with frequent visits or stays at sites within 80 Km
Type: Long term contract
