PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION · Masters in economics is required with at least 7-8 years of industry experience in the energy field.
· Provides expert advice and guidance on the economics of company investment proposals to the Executive and Corporate Management.
· Participates in the economic analysis and review of upstream, downstream, gas, petrochemical and power projects.
· Assists in economics of complex mega projects estimated by other company organizations and teams.
· Act as a Senior Economist will be a key adviser to Corporate Management and other company organizations in the overall Capital Program.
· Provides expert judgment, by way of thorough analysis on queries from management involving the economic and business issues impacting investments
· Regularly interacts with other professionals in various Company organizations involved in capital planning and economic analysis.
· Assists in the training, development and mentoring of younger staff in their area of expertise.
· Proven ability to handle complex economics problems in a rigorous analytical fashion.
· Thorough understanding of the economic and business factors related to the petroleum industry.
