Responsibilities:
• Enhance existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes
• Ownership of logical & physical data models, enterprise data dictionary as well the definition of metadata (Data Sources, Business Rules, Data Rules, Extract Rules and Transformations)
• Design, document, and promote security “best practices”, policies, standards and protocols
• Develop data model describing data elements and how they are used, following procedures using template or computer software
• Test programmes or database, correct errors and make necessary modifications
