Purpose of the Position Reporting to the MD, the job of General Manager Technical exists to provide specialist advice on technical issues to the Managing Director and the senior management team. The incumbent leads the key processes of Project Evaluation, Technical and Operational Audits, Optimization of refining processes, and leading projects through different stages – concept, feasibility, implementation and monitoring. Also responsible for delivery of an efficient Company wide Materials Management and Procurement function, and IMS and Technical Certifications of the Company.

 

Job Specification Graduate Engineer, preferably with post graduate qualification. At least 20 years experience in project management and procurement, preferably in the Petroleum Refining or Chemical Process industry. Complete familiarity with IMS and HSEQ requirements. Age should not exceed 50 years.
