PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline with demonstrable experience with 10-12 years of experience in maintenance.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for developing and leading maintenance activities
· Responsible for managing the Maintenance Department as a contributing member of a cross-functional team supporting plant activities to ensure operational objectives are accomplished.
· Responsible for maintenance activities, to include personnel, scheduling, planning, budget control and tactical execution. Provide training, coaching and guidance to maintenance team, utilize TPM, Autonomous Maintenance and Continuous Improvement tools (5S, SMED, FMEA, MBA) to track results and drive performance.
· Responsible to manage the plant's multi-million dollar variable budget to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are achieved and improvement plans are in place.
· Manages the computerized maintenance management system to assure the preventative maintenance programs continue to grow and develop to meet the needs of an expanding business.
· Accountable for plant maintenance plan and effectiveness.
· Orchestrates daily maintenance support of manufacturing at the facility.
· Actively supports Safety, Health and Environmental by enforcing Company policies and procedures regarding safety and employee conduct.
· Manages all maintenance functions as they relate to manufacturing to achieve the plant's operating plan.
· Completes and monitors expense budgets for the Maintenance Department.
· Develops, recommends, and reviews long term strategies for expense and capital initiatives.
· Hires and develops a competent and efficient maintenance team ensuring personnel has the experience, tools, supplies and materials required for performing maintenance services successfully.
· In-depth knowledge of all aspects of plant operations.
Strong technical/troubleshooting/problem-solving/analytical skills.
· Ability to implement new systems of control that empower plant teams to own, sustain and develop further.
· Exceptional leadership skills, as well as, experience in manufacturing with a strong technical background are required to assure the optimum in equipment performance with minimal disruption to production flow.
