PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE · CA and have worked as Finance Heads / CFOs of US$ 500 million plus organizations for the past 3 to 5 years, preferably in FMCG industry, with a well rounded exposure to all finance functions - MIS, financial accounting, costing, planning, working capital management etc.
· A hand on exposure to an ERP system is a must.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Responsible for developing the Business Unit Financial Budgets relating to Sales, Materials, Utilities, Costs and projected P&L in consonance with the Annual Business Unit plan.
· Responsible for Accounting of all transactions – Sales, Material, General, Cost and P&L.
· Responsible for MIS and Business Performance analyses; to ensure Business health and P&L objectives.
· Ensure compliance with Financial and Cost Accounting Systems and Financial Policies of the Company.
· Ensure credit policies are complied with in respect of both receivables and payables and to this end manage the cash flow.
· Establish adequate costing systems for establishing cost of material, process, end product and overheads to determine product pricing and realizable margins.
· Report transgressions in accounting practices, material discrepancies, cash advances, material wastage and contravention of company policy to Corporate Finance.
· Invite periodic audits of systems, accounting records and accounting practices with a view to improve accounting, fix accountabilities and tighten leakages.
· Ensure adequate pipeline of talent and skills for succession by designing and activating a staff career path and plan in collaboration with Unit HR
